Youmu Combo Tutorial





Rabbit-Box was having trouble with this combo so I made this to try and help him out.  I have no idea if it'll actually help or not though.

I'm posting the annotations here in case Youtube decides to delete them or the video for whatever reason.

If you're getting a 3A or 2C it's because you're not doing the 6 in the 623.

Always remember to end in down-forward.

Even if you do crazy inputs like this

Practice doing f5A/f2A into 623C if you're having trouble with the timing.

After you have that down, practice one 2A into 623C

One of the main reasons to learn this is to combo into spellcards from a 2A

Make sure to press the spellcard button on the first hit of the 623C.

A spellcard cancel won't work if you do it too late because Youmu rises off the ground.

Youmu's 2A is very good against Sakuya.  It beats out some of her moves, like 5A/f5A/5B, and makes some of her moves whiff, like j6A/3A.

Sakuya's options are limited because, the only tools she has aginst Youmu 2A are 6A and a well placed jA, j2A, 2A or bullet.
(Well placed being the key phrase here)

Learning this combo will make 2A go from a minor annoyance to an extremely powerful tool when used with the right spellcards.

3 Card Green sword and 5 Card Runpast are highly recomended.

2AAA,623C,Greensword does about 3500 damage.  It's also airtight on block giving you good guardcrush setups.

The same combo into 5 card does about 4500 damage.
